For now I’m mostly over at @starfleetdesign which is a Star Trek themed tumblr where I’m posting work that I’ve been putting on my Twitter account of the same name… and of course reblogging other stuff too.
Later on I may revamp this primary blog and start posting more here too. I used to really enjoy Tumblr so I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things irrespective of whether Musk-era Twitter crashes and burns.
my favorite part in attack of the clones is when obi-wan just fucks off to play space nancy drew on Clone Rain Planet with the alarming giraffe-necked aliens and swans in like “HELLO IT’S ME, the jedi who definitely… … was here before and probably, uh, spoke to you, and stuff” and theyre like “ah you are here for the order” and hes like “beg pardon” and theyre like “the order of millions of identical human men?” and hes like “RIGHT YES. ABSOLUTELY I AM HERE FOR THE ORDER OF MILLIONS OF IDENTICAL HUMAN MEN”
and then later when he SNEAKS INTO A CORNER TO FUCKING… facetime yoda… like “ok so we have these millions of identical human men who were apparently suspiciously ordered for us by someone???” and yodas fucking response is just “when countless sapient lemons life gives you…….. send those lemons into intergalactic battle you must”
and obi-wan’s like “shit man you’re so right"
There literally isn’t a frame of this scene where Obi-Wan doesn’t look confused as hell
it always blows my mind that there are people who reheat their leftover pizza. like you have the option of eating perfectly good cold pizza but you actively choose to make it all weird and mushy just so it can be warm. pizza microwavers do not interact; you will be blockt.
Reheating pizza in the microwave is tantamount to blasphemy.
Reheating pizza in the oven is acceptable.
There is never any valid excuse for microwaving any variety of bread.
In my house, we freeze loaves of bread for future use. I have microwaved slices of frozen bread in order to make a sandwich because someone forgot to take a loaf out of the freezer when they used up the active loaf. If the bread is a block of ice, it’s not terrible in the microwave. though it is generally better to put it in the toaster.
Garlic bread is pretty good in the microwave if you take it out after 10 seconds. Especially if you put some mozzarella on top and the trip through the microwave was just to melt the cheese.
You keep bread in the freezer 😭

Excuse you, microwaves are one of the few things you can do to make stale baguette edible.
I made cheese on toast recently by toasting bread, then putting cheese on top and microwaving it for 30 seconds. Hardly gourmet I know, but it was as good as cheese on toast could be.

You joke, but these cars were really fucking well done. My dad and I found them and bought one of each of them. The enderman car has a fucking ender pearl underneath it, and a grass block in the trunk.
The spider truck unfolds and you can park the skeleton car in it.
The creeper one has TNT in the engine.
The zombie one is just cool and I wanted to share it.
I know these are a hilarious cashgrab, but thought was put into their designs, and it honestly makes me super happy. Byron Benedict did a great job on these designs and I haven’t felt this excited to buy hot wheels since I was 8.
Smith said that Sarkeesian’s criticism of the first Dishonored made him defensive at first, but played a role in the way Arkane approached the way it wrote the women of Dishonored 2.
“Your comment,” Smith said. “Which I will always remember and I’ll take it to my grave is … ‘While Dishonored is a game that does many things very well, the roles it has for women are very narrow.’”
After hearing Sarkeesian’s criticisms, he said that it made him see the way Arkane depicted the women of Dishonored1 in a new light. Here are his comments in full:
At first, you take some criticism and go, ‘Wait a minute,’ and then you look and it’s like, ‘Wow, every woman in Dishonored1 is either a servant, a prostitute, a witch, a queen or a little girl. Or a mistress.’ We have a mistress also. You know, that was not an intentional choice.
So, when something like that pops up, you can get defensive if you want, or you can say, ‘Guys, let me just ask this: Did we mean that?’ And the answer is no, we did not mean that.
Would the game be worse if we took an action on [this criticism], or would the game be better? The game would be richer and more interesting … and we carried that over into Dishonored 2 and we’re very happy we did.
