Mancora in Piura is an exposed beach reef and point break that has reliable surf. Spring and Summer provide the optimum conditions. The best wind direction is from the east southeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the northwest. The beach breaks consists of lefts and there is also a left hand reef break. and also offers a left hand point break too. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Watch out for rocks.
