After being on your site for 5 years on and off…This past christmas due to an unexpected illness that took me through the next couple of months. I decided to give your site another viewing on the personals in february and after flirting and chatting with a very special man for a month we decided to meet.
Me being in North Palm Beach, Florida and him living in the Tampa, Florida area is quite a distance..But on July 4th he (Kostas) decided it was time to take the 4 hour plus ride and meet me (Vivian) at a local restaurant near me. However Kostas did get lost so i suggested to meet at the local Publix instead..After waiting a few minutes in the parking lot of a very busy supermarket a red truck slows down and this handsome man gets out with dozens of roses a cake and a large box of candy….Being extremely touched and though what a good hearted special person should follow me to a local restaurant. So, we did and over a diet coke we chatted for couple of hours comparing such similar illness at the same time frame was overwhelming and what a coincidence. Being it was July 4th and evening was approaching concerned about the long drive back to tampa for Kostas we both agreed to see on another again and again and again….With endless phone conversations and skype calls from florida to greece. This was turning out to be very special and so it was that on October 11 we got married among 62 guests, friends, family from as far as Greece, New York and various other states. After three weeks of being Mr and Mrs Kotoulis we both are thankful to our wonderful Greek Dating Site and forever will be…so, moral to the story is one never knows and never give up…..
Thank you!!

YOUR SITE WORKS!!! WE GOT MARRIED!!!
Dear friends, I just thought id let you know that 2 years ago, me and Louise met using your site and we got married 2 weeks ago (21st of September 2013) in GREECE!!! THANK YOU!! I was Leonidas1821 and Louise was LouisaP. I just thought you would like to let others know how effective your website is.
Back in 2009, I set out to fulfil a dream of going to Santorini. On the first day I arrived, I set out to get to Oia for the sunset. On the way there I passed the village of Imerovigli and noticed a beautiful church high up on a hill. Drawn by its beauty, I took the turning to find the church of Agios Markos and noticed the church’s breath taking views. There was also a wedding that had just taken place and asked if it was ok to go into the church in order to kiss the icons. Overwhelmed by its small, intimate capacity and stunning views, I had one new dream… to be married here one day. He missed the Oia sunset for that day!
2 years later, on the May bank holiday of 2011, I was at a Greek festival in Birmingham. I had a stand selling pictures of Greece, bracelets and the odd football shirt. Louise was also at the Greek festival and a picture of a Greek flag caught her eye. Seeing Louise and smiling, I grabbed an Olympiacos football shirt and tried to sell Louise the shirt insisting it would make a lovely nightie! Louise smiled but did not buy the shirt but she did return to buy the picture of the Greek flag. Sadly, the stall had packed up and Louise couldn’t buy the picture.
Later that year Louise and her sister booked a holiday in Cyprus. They visited Aphrodite’s Birth place “Petra tou Romiou” and on the banks of the pebbled beach, Louise noticed that people were making hearts and messages using the white pebbles along the banks of the beach. Louise saw a big pebble heart and took one of the pebbles from this heart. Unknown to her, I was also on holiday in Cyprus that same year and I too visited Aphrodite’s birth place. I too noticed the pebble hearts and one heart too his attention. I approached a pebble heart with a pebble missing, the one that Louise took the pebble from! I took a picture of it.
In November that year, I decided to find my soul mate, someone I could spend the rest of my life with. I searched online If a Greek dating existed and there was! Eligible Greeks! I wrote my profile and attached a few pictures. I paid for membership to make it more flexible for conversations. I have to be honest but it was on the last day of the membership when it all happened…worth waiting for.
Louise sent a message to a user named Leonidas1821 on a Greek dating site. That username was in fact ME! Once we realised we had bumped into each other at the Greek festival, once we realised that I took a picture of the exact pebble heart that Louise took the pebble from, we knew this was fate. Before we even arranged to go on a date, I already booked a holiday to Santorini for the two of us! On our first date, we set eyes on each other with a big smile and straight away we knew this was love at first sight.
I contacted a wedding company in Santorini and organised a Greek Orthodox wedding with all the traditional aspects. From donkey to flower arrangements, it was all taken care of.
Thank you so much for your website, we are both so happy we found you and Louise and I are happy wefound each other.

My name is Kalliopi (sokkergal15) and his name is Telly (taegetos). I saw him on eligible greeks four years ago and sent the first flirt. We talked for one month and then met in person. We have had a wonderful relationship and he proposed after 2 years of dating on a lighthouse in wisconsin. We were married in Spetses Greece on 5/28/11 and are so happy that we found each other. Thank you eligible greeks for helping us connect, we would never have met each other if it were not for your site!
On October 8th, 2009 I flirted with Jimmy and the rest is history! After almost giving up hope on finding a soulmate, I decided to give it one more shot. I am so glad I joined Eligible Greeks because I found the love of my life. 9 days later on October 17, 2009 we had our first date at Maggianos in Oak Brook. He was a complete gentleman, and everything I had been looking for, plus so much more. Over the next year and half we spent time enjoying Chicago, and traveling many places. Jimmy even took me to Greece for the first time. In May of 2011 we vacationed in Turks and Caicos, where Jimmy proposed and made all my dreams come true. We are set to be married on November 10, 2012, and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together.Thank you to Eligible Greeks for connecting us, we have since encouraged many friends and familly to find love the same way we did!

First of all let me explain, I thoght I was just wasting my time on another website. Though, I thought let me try to find one of my own. At first, it was just that, no difference. I wouldn’t even respond to some of the flirts. Then I started reading the profiles, and found one that sounded like someone with the same values and upbringings as myself. I decided to contact her. When she reponded to my flirt, our dialog began to grow first through e-mails, then through phone conversations. I then knew I had to meet her. Once I did I knew she truely was the person I had longed to find. Though nothing is ever easy. She was visiting her brother in Texas and realy lived in California. So when it was time for her to return home, we had to make a decision, to either continue a long distance relationship or to end the relationship and remain friends. So we tried the long distance relationship for a while. Though I knew I had to do something to change the situation. I realized I needed her around me all the time not periodicaly. I knew I was only happy when I was around her. I then was able to get a transfer for my job to the bay area. I then picked up my things and followed her across the country. I never made a better decision. I’ve never been happier and I can happily announce we are engaged to be married.
I know you have had other success stories, though for me personally it’s more than a success story. It’s a life saving story. So, let me say thank you. From both of us, Thank you.
