I am IT manager and designer of a system built for a company with 22 sites VPN communicating them with AVAYA VoIP Office 406 system, which has a centralized data and reporting web 2.0 application built with Oracle 10g XE and APEX 3.2, extended with Delphi 7 ActiveX Forms embedded into web pages, Oracle BI Publisher and Jasper Server reporting systems, and a locally secured desktop POS system built with Delphi 7, Interbase 7.1, and Oracle 10g Client. Servers are fully virtualized with VMWare Server 1.4, running mostly virtualized Debian 4.0 r6 servers to host fax server Hylafax/Avantfax, proxy server, internet access control Dansguardian, mail server Postfix/Squirrelmail, monitoring system Zenoss, NAS iSCSI support with FreeNAS and OpenFiler and projected cluster with Debian and DRBD8. Desktops are fully virtualized aswell hosted on not internet connected Dell Posiflex PC’s with run Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 to virtualize a internet connected, USB locked access Windows 2000 SP4 PC wich include office and groupware applications.

Soy responsable y diseñador de un sistema informático construido para una compañía con red privada de 22 sedes, comunicándose entre ellas con centralita AVAYA voz IP 406, que además tiene un sistema de datos e informes tipo web 2.0 creado con Oracle 10g XE, APEX 3.2, extendida con Delphi 7 ActiveX Forms incrustados en las páginas web, Oracle BI Publisher y Jasper Server, como servidores de informes, y localmente, un TPV con escritorio seguro, construído con Delphi 7, Interbase 7.1 y Oracle 10g Client. Los servidores están completamente virtualizados con VMWare Server 1.4, corriendo la mayoría servidores virtuales Debian 4.0 r6 como servidor de fax Hylafax/Avantfax, servidor de correo Postfix/Squirrelmail, control de acceso, o proxy, Dansguardian, monitorización con Zenoss, NAS iSCSI con FreeNAS y Openfiler, y proyectado un cluster con Debian y DRBD8. Los escritorios también están virtualizados en PC’s DELL Optiplex sin conexión a internet, que corren Virtual PC 2004 donde se ejecuta un PC virtual Windows 2000 SP4, conectado a internet, con bloqueo de acceso USB, que incluye todas las aplicaciones de oficina y grupos de trabajo.
