'Clumsy diplomacy' preventing Syria intervention

Turkey has accused Syria of a hostile act for shooting down one of its military jets. It hasn't yet called for either Nato or the UN to respond. But if it did, how would they react?

Nato is reluctant to get involved and at the UN, Russia and China have blocked previous attempts to do something.

Britain's Foreign Secretary has warned that Syria risks becoming the next Bosnia slipping into civil war while the world watches.

Paddy Ashdown, who was the UN's man in Bosnia, talks to Sarah Montague about why the West is getting it wrong.
