Cabbage Patch Expands To Playa Vista, Location 3 On The Way

The first outpost of Samir Mohajer's (formerly of Rustic Canyon, Little Door, Axe) Cabbage Patch casual market-driven eatery opened just over a year ago on S. Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills. On March 24 Samir and biz partner Harold Karsenty debuted location two in front of the Media Arts Lab offices on Beatrice St. with a third location coming to downtown. The Playa Vista eatery is quite different from the eat-in BH spot, think an urban picnic Shake Shack (NYC) style, it even looks a bit like Shake Shack.

The deal here is you order from one window, pick up from a second window, then score a seat on the surrounding benches. Like BH, there's an eco-angle, all furniture is made form reclaimed redwood, coffee comes from Groundwork, pastries from Rockenwagner with Cake Monkey treats. Stay tuned from even more locally-sourced products for sale in the future. Preview the full menu here, and don't miss the tart fresh squeezed lemonade and house-made iced mint tea. Open Mon-Fri 8AM to 4PM. [EaterWire]
