Potomac Fiber Arts Guild

Welcome!  The Potomac Fiber Arts Guild is an association of over 300 fiber artists located in the metropolitan Washington, DC area.  We provide educational programs, study groups, collaboration and fellowship around a wide range of fiber arts, including weaving, spinning, knitting, quilting, felting, dyeing, surface design,  as well as  outreach activities for members.

Programs & Workshops

Monthly meetings and program presentations with artists from around the world. Followed by half day mini-workshop and/or 2- or 3-day extended workshops. To register for workshops, visit the registration page.

Study Groups

One of the benefits of membership in the Potomac Fiber Arts Guild is the opportunity to continue to develop technical knowledge and proficiency by participating in a study group. 

Library

The Guild library contains over 1,300 items (books, periodicals, and videos) on subjects related to textiles.  Members in good standing may check out up to six items at a time, for a one-month loan period. 

Outreach

The Potomac Fiber Arts Guild promotes excellence in design and fine craftsmanship in the fiber arts. It is especially interested in providing educational opportunities for its members and the general public to further their skills in, and appreciation of, the fiber arts.
