Great success of Andrea Lucchesini in Vancouver:"
A performance that will stay with me for a long time: Andrea Lucchesini’s recital at the Playhouse last Sunday. I may not be risk-averse but I am Liszt-averse, and even I found Andrea’s rendition of the Sonata in B minor to be wonderful; his Schumann Fantasie, sublime. And I know that many of you who were lucky enough to be in the hall felt the same way (you’ll find some audience comments further below). I’m already working away to bring Andrea back in a future season!

The season that is now drawing to a close has been a very important one for JAVIER COMESAÑA: it has seen Javier's debuts with important orchestras such as the RTVE in Madrid, which saw him collaborate with Pedro Gonzales, the Orchestra of Galicia, conducted by Frans-Aert Burghgraef, the Orchestra of Lithuania , the Symphony Orchestra of Milan, conducted by Kolja Blacher, the Bremerhaven Philharmonisches Orchester Stadttheater, conducted by Mark Niemann and others.

In the next few months, however, he is expected to take part in important concerts at the Koelner Philharmonie, in Hanover and Valladolid, conducted by Vasily Petrenko.

Congratulations to young Javier on this new milestone

on 10 and 11 November, Javier Comesana will be soloist with the Orquesta Sinfónica RTVE conducted by Pablo Gonzales, performing Tchaikovsky's famous violin concerto in D major

Last Monday, Benedetto Lupo enchanted the Teatro Manzoni in Bologna with a wonderful performance of Schumann's concerto with the Filarmonica del Teatro Comunale di Bologna, conducted by Roberto Abbado.

A beautiful concert, greeted by the audience with great warmth, as Roberta Pedrotti writes in l'Ape Musicale: "A concert that exalts the characteristics of the soloist Benedetto Lupo, his authentic sprezzatura in the touch that unravels simplicity without trivialising it or ever playing to the exercise of style or technical show-off."

In September together with the Swedish Radio Symphony and Daniel Harding she played Bartok's concerto in Stockholm and Prague.

In October she will be in Berlin with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and Denes Varjon with The piano and violin concertos of Hummel and Mendelssohn . He will return to Berlin in January to play the Beethoven concerto at the Salle Boulez with the Philharmonie de Paris

Recall again in March Concerts in London and Dortmund with Barbara Hannigan, scheduled to play Alban Berg's violin concerto. Also in March will follow concerts with the Deutsche Symphonie Orchester conducted by Robin Ticciati.

In Warsaw she will return with Hosokawa's brand new violin concerto, written for her.

Last but not least is the project that will feature her in Potsdam together with Anna Prohaska and the Kammerakademie Postdam.
