Nokia India has announced the launch of the Nokia 6110 Navigator, the company’s first dedicated phone to be optimized for GPS and navigation functionality. The launch of this phone has been highly-anticipated and is a part of Nokia’s strategy to offer GPS/navigation services to a larger base in the country.
Nokia’s 6110 Navigator features integrated maps, routing and navigation all available at just the click of the Navigator key. The phone also features unique full turn-by-turn 3D navigation, which easily suggests the best route to follow.
It’s a good thing that the 6110 Navigator is a user-friendly device as it offers clear instructions by voice guidance and turn arrows on a map ensuring that the user finds the quickest route to his or her destination.
The Nokia 6110 Navigator phone comes preloaded with pre-loaded maps of eight cities which include Delhi & NCR, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
The 8 Indian city maps currently have locations and details of 75,000+ km of roads, 10,000+ Restaurants & Hotels, 10,000+ Banks & ATMs, 5,000+ Schools & Colleges, 3,000+ Petrol Pumps, 3,000+ Places of Worship, 2,000+ Hospitals & Medicine Shops, 2,000+ Car & Auto Service Stations, and 1,000’s of other places of interest.
