Crowd turns out for Congressman David Scott’s meet-and-greet in Rockdale County
ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA—A crowd of supporters and VIPS on Sunday, April 14, attended a meet-and-greet for long-time Democratic Congressman David Scott (GA-13), who is running for re-election.
The reception was hosted by Rockdale County Commissioner Sherri Washington, Post 1, at Loretta’s Kitchen in Conyers, where a Southern buffet was prepared for the event.
Scott thanked Washington and the crowd of supporters for welcoming him, his wife, Alfredia, and family members, saying that he was glad to return to Rockdale, which he had represented for 10 years prior to redistricting following the 2010 Census. The 13th congressional district now includes all of Rockdale County, and parts of Clayton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Henry and Newton counties.
