      Date 05/04/2024 Course Name Sulphur Springs CC Gross Score 84 Course Handicap 5 Gross Strokes over/under par 12 Net Score to Par 7 Net Score 79 Net Birdies or better Longest Drive Rating and Slope 67.5/109 I only played once this week, and didn’t play particularly well. It certainly wasn’t my worst round but just couldn’t get anything going.

      My 7 wood has been my saving grace for a long time now. After a double spine surgery - I lost a ton of distance when I came back and struggled to get my driver swing back on track. During that time - for some reason I could hit my 5 and 7 woods much more consistently. As I struggled with distance off the tee - I was able to at least still keep up with my current level of play and didnt let it phase my overall game as I had so much confidence in that could get caught back up with my 7 wood. Also became a very versatile club where I could choke down, take little half swings etc. for shots I just didn't feel comfortable with with an iron etc. I will forever have a 7 wood in my bag because of the past few years with the one I have now!

      OK so it took a bit to find this post. But in conclusion to everything I destroyed my swing caddie, broke my iPhone and really like the senior flex shaft. I was testing out the Galway bay rain suit on the range in a rainy day condition and didn’t realize how close I teed up to the swing caddie and my backswing sent it flying. Before the wtf moment I was seeing improvement over the regular flex shaft on my old bombtech driver in the swing speed dept. granted it was only 4 mph but it’s something to build on and was convincing enough to hold off on ordering a new oem shaft for the stealth. I have since played a few rounds using both mine and a buddies stealth plus with regular flex Fuji shaft and I just feel better with the senior flex. I decided to upgrade my irons to the stealth set and due to complications with shipping for over a month I was upgraded for free to the Qi 10 irons. Just got them Saturday about 5 minutes before I had to leave for work and have been on overnights till Tuesday morning. I do have a tee time set up for Tuesday afternoon and will be getting to swing them for the first time. Till then spy’s , thank you all for the suggestions and advice. A community like this is the best source for information and y’all show it.

      Date 05/05/2024 Course Name Pajaro Valley Golf Club Gross Score 80 Course Handicap 10 Gross Strokes over/under par 8 Net Score to Par -2 Net Score 70 Net Birdies or better Longest Drive 70.6/125-slope and rating   early morning round before the Cinco de Mayo crazy tournament.  It was a less than preferred round, too many missed putts….33 putts on the day, 0 for 7 on putts inside 15-18 feet.  Saving grace on the round was most definitely off the tee and inside 100 yards.  Fairway misses held to one side, strokes gained off the tee.   proximity on approach was good as well, if my putter was working today this would have been a great round for me.   next week it will be better or my putter is going on timeout….
