Subtitled Songs that Celebrate Women's Freedom, her first release reflects a wide spectrum of Marsie's personal journey through feminism, political consciousness, peace-making, women's spirituality, and the interrelationships between these pursuits. She accompanies her original songs on 12-string, backed by supporting instruments and vocals. In addition to her work as a singer-songwriter, Marsie has been an organizer for many decades. She is one of the founding mothers of the Conference of Catholic Lesbians, and has been active with CLOUT (Christian Lesbians OUT). She is the former natinal coordinator of the Women's Ordination Conference, and wrote all the theme songs for every Women's Ordination Conference and Womenchurch Conference since 1978.
