Hola a todos los lectores, amigos de youtube, personas que visitan mi blog, y en general a todos. El día de hoy les traigo un tutorial, de como instalar y usar el programa UNetbootin, si no sabes lo que es o para que sirve, puedes ver este articulo escrito por mi(es la noticia del software).
Si todavía no lo tenemos instalado, podremos pasar por el articulo que he puesto anteriormente(Aquí), y ver la sección de descargas, algo mas practico seria ejecutar el siguiente comando en terminal[Aplicaciones > Accesorios > Terminal].
sudo aptitude install unetbootin
Que necesitaremos?
- Pendrive(memoria USB), al menos 1GB, ya que la mayoría de distribuciones GNU/Linux pesan 600-700MB(El Pendrive lo tendremos que formatear, así que rescatar los datos)
- Una imagen ISO, de alguna distribución GNU/Linux, por ejemplo Ubuntu(puedes conseguirla en su pagina)
- Y el programa UNetbootin instalado(Noticia)
Ahora que ya lo hemos instalado, nos dirigiremos a ejecutarlo, para ello vamos a; Aplicaciones > Herramientas del Sistema > UNetbootin. Nos aparecerá la siguiente ventana.
Configuración:
Empezaremos por partes, primero analizaremos el programa, tiene un apartado donde dice Distribución(aparecerá marcado), aquí podremos descargar la distribución que queremos y su versión, de esta manera al elegirla, la descargara y estará lista para después meterla en el Pendrive.
Ahora, en la otra sección que dice Disco_Imagen, es para mi la opción mas fiable, aquí podremos seleccionar una imagen ISO descargada (de cualquier distribución), y en ella es la que nos basaremos. Primero debemos descargarla, como siempre yo recomiendo Ubuntu, y lo pueden descargar de su pagina oficial(www.ubuntu.com).
Bien, ya que la hemos descargado, daremos clic en donde pone Disco_Imagen, ahora en donde pone ISO lo dejaremos así como ISO. Bien, después pone una barra blanca, o de algún otro color(vacía), y delante un botón con tres puntos(…). daremos clic ahí y buscaremos la imagen ISO descargada.
Quedara algo como esto:
Ahora ya listo, lo que haremos sera introducir nuestra memoria o pendrive, y seleccionar donde pone Tipo, seleccionaremos Unidad USB, en Unidad, Pondremos la dirección en donde se encuentra la memoria USB(la letra, ya sea F:, C: etc, esto en Windows, en Linux, sera algo como /dev/sdb1). Aquí dejo una imagen de como quedara mas o menos;
Y listo, ahora que ya lo tenemos todo configurado, según el tutorial quedara algo como esto.
Daremos el botón Aceptar, y habremos acabado el proceso, sera cuestión de esperar de 5-10 minutos y tendremos nuestra USB Booteable.
Nota: Si deseas iniciar con el proceso de instalación de Ubuntu, puedes ir a este tutorial que he escrito y empezar a instalar Ubuntu.

hola una tengo una duda puedo instalar cualquier vercion de linux por que quieo instalar linux4one linux kuki y joil so o no se puede
ola yo estaba tratando de instalar linux mint en mi pc a la cual le falla el lector de discos y ya segui los pasos que me indicaste sin embargo no se como arrancar la instalacion ya que no hay ningun archivo que diga setup basicamente lo que logre fue descomprimir lo que tenia la imagen y ahora la tengo en archivos separados pero sin el instalador si me pudieras ayudar seria de gran ayuda
bueno primero apaga tu equipo y luego enciendelo antes de que arranque presiona f12 o f10 para entrar ala bios de tu pc y busca boot device y ahi encontraras hard disc 1 usb and cd rom 2 usb 3 lo que vas hacer es lo siguente presionas enter para poder aceder y luego presiona con la barra de espacio en hard disc y se quita el numero 1 yluego presionas en usb and cd rom y se quitara el 2 y al final te devera quedar USB NUMERO 1 presiona esc guarda y sola reinicia y listo solo sigue los pasos
