Anyone wanting to be Food Safety Certified in Saskatchewan in accordance with The Food Safety Regulations, Section 26(1) & (2) and be registered in the Provincial Food Handlers Registry must successfully complete a course in food sanitation approved by the minister.
Food Safety 1st has certified instructors, qualified and approved to offer food safety training courses that are approved by the minister.
Food Safety 1st issue certificates in safe food handling to all successful participants. All successful “Qualified” participants are also registered in the Provincial Food Handlers Registry as meeting the requirements of Section 26 of The Food Safety Regulations.
