Naming rights: On January 11, 2008, The Progressive Corporation agreed to pay $3.6 million annually for 16 years. Progressive is an insurance company based in the Cleveland suburb of Mayfield Village and their sponsorship deal expires the same year that the Indians' lease at the ballpark does.

Was called Jacobs Field, after former Indians owner Richard Jacobs, from its opening in 1994 until Progressive bought the naming rights 14 years later. Jacobs actually paid $10 million to name the ballpark after himself. He sold the team in 1999 and the name Jacobs Field was maintained for two years after it was allowed to be changed.

The Indians sold out 455 consecutive regular season games at Jacobs Field in a streak that began on June 12, 1995 and ended on April 4, 2001. Cleveland's sellout streak broke Major League Baseball's previous record of 203 (Colorado Rockies) but was surpassed on September 8, 2008 by the Red Sox.

Has 122 suites with a collective capacity of 1,564.

First game: The Cleveland Indians beat the Seattle Mariners 4-3 in 11 innings on April 4, 1994 in front of 41,459 fans
