Blind children, including those with additional disabilities, can take part in sports, games, and movement activities. A few simple adaptations, such as adding sound, making the target bigger, or using a slower-moving ball, can make the difference between the blind kid sitting on the bench and the blind kid getting into the game. This section will give you ideas for young children, for children with additional disabilities, for gym class, and for specific sports. Have fun getting active with your kids!
