The Floran line of products are specifically formulated for cleaning water infrastructure that can be taken out of service, particularly mission-critical infrastructure that must be returned to service quickly. Our products remove organic and inorganic deposits including iron, manganese and calcium scale, biomass and algae. This suite of products works off-line on water tanks, filter bays, basins, air stripping towers, filter media, underdrains and clearwells – virtually any component of the water treatment and storage system. Removing organic and inorganic deposits from water infrastructure stabilizes free chlorine and chloramine residuals. Blue Earth Products’ products solve the root problem by also removing the biological substrates that lead to the formation of disinfection by-products (DBPs). neXt is a granular formulation developed to simplify in-place filter media rehabilitation by eliminating the need for an external catalyst. This product removes organic and inorganic deposits on anthracite, sand, and other types of granular media. Treatment with neXt is a fast, convenient and economical alternative to media replacement. Filter cleaning improves performance and extends media lifetime.
Media Master® And Media Master® RR
Media Master and Media Master RR are granular formulations developed specifically for in-place filter media rehabilitation. These products are designed for removal of organic and inorganic deposits on anthracite, sand, activated carbon and other types of granular media. Treatment with Media Master and Media Master RR is a fast, convenient and economical alternative to media replacement. Filter cleaning improves performance and extends media lifetime. Media Master RR is recycle ready.
Filter Fit®
Filter Fit is a low-corrosive formulation used to remove surface deposits from filtration basins, troughs, clarifiers and other accessible water treatment plant surfaces. It is specially created to remove scale and algae buildups as well as potassium permanganate stains. Additional benefits include elimination of surface-borne chlorine demand and removal of unsightly stains.
CSR Plus®
CSR Plus (Calcium Scale Remover Plus) is specifically formulated to remove calcium carbonate scale. CSR Plus is less corrosive than most acidic descalers. It removes calcium carbonate and other mineral deposits from filtration basins, troughs, clarifiers and other accessible water treatment plant surfaces and is also used to clean air stripper media as an alternative to costly media replacement. CSR Plus allows longer residence time on vertical or near-vertical surfaces.
Top Ultra®
Top Ultra is a low-corrosive formulation used on surfaces of storage tanks and basins for the removal of both organic and inorganic deposits. Using Top Ultra reduces chlorine demand, reduces nitrification, lowers disinfection by-product levels and extends the lifetime of surface coatings.
Floran® Biodegreaser
Blue Earth Products Biodegreaser is a nonflammable, water soluble formulation that removes grease and oil deposits from an entire range of industrial, commercial and municipal equipment. Biodegreaser is specifically engineered for application efficiency and environmental safety. It quickly emulsifies and removes the most tenacious oil and petroleum residues. Biodegreaser is safe on paint and will not damage infrastructure surfaces.
Floran® Biogrowth Remover
Biogrowth Remover is a liquid, alkaline formulation intended for removing biomass deposits and residuals from wet or submerged surfaces. Biogrowth Remover is specifically designed for application efficiency and environmental safety. It is proven to be effective against certain types of biological deposits, which can impede flow through filters and contribute to high bulk water bacterial counts. Biogrowth Remover will not damage infrastructure surfaces.
Floran® Catalyst
Floran Catalyst is a liquid activator formulation used in conjunction with surface cleaning and filter media rehabilitation products for removing surface deposits from water treatment and storage facilities. The product greatly enhances the effectiveness of other Floran products and helps remove heavy organic and inorganic surface deposits.
PHaze®
pHaze is a non-hazardous neutralizer used to adjust the pH of acidic runoffs in environments that require NSF certification. The product is necessary to condition runoffs for disposal. pHaze is buffered to prevent the pH of treat water from rising above 9 pH.
PHinish-L®
pHinish-L is a liquid, alkaline formulation used for neutralizing acidic runoff that is generated when applying Blue Earth Products’ surface cleaning and media rehabilitation products. pHinish-L is NSF 60 certified for use in drinking water facilities. This product is designed for off-line use and flushed out before returning the treated facility to use.
PHinish-S®
pHinish-S is a solid, alkaline formulation used for neutralizing acidic runoff that is generated when applying Floran surface cleaning and media rehabilitation products. pHinish-S is NSF 60 certified for use in drinking water facilities.
