mbox2eml is a free Windows tool for converting mbox files into eml files. The conversion is fast, robust and can process mbox files of any size (yes, even gigabytes!).

mbox2eml is a tool built-in into IMAPSize (a free application). To use mbox2eml, download and install IMAPSize and invoke the mbox2eml option from the Tools menu. You don't need to setup any IMAP accounts in order to perform this operations.
This tool can be used to convert your email archives from Unix mailbox files which are used by some email clients, such as Thunderbird and Eudora.
