Our range of high quality water meters are produced by Arad who have built up an enviable reputation as a manufacturers of quality water meters since their foundation in 1941. Arad's products are used around the world, their watermeters can be specified safe in the knowledge that they meet world standards of quality and performance including EU,ISO, and AWWA standards.
Every water meter is individually factory tested, inspected and calibrated to ensure quality and reliability. Many of Arad's water meters are MID certified for use in the European Union and a number have been tested and approved to WRAS standards including the Gladiator water meter designed to meet UK particular residential watermeter requirements and the state of the art Octave ultrasonic meter.
In sizes from 1/2" to 12" all of Arads' industrial water meters are available with an optional electrical output for connection to process control, data logging or BMS equipment.
Multijet Water Meters
For many water metering applications Arad multi-jet water meters offer the perfect balance between cost and performance, long life and measurement accuracy. The Model M inline water meters feature only one moving part in contact with the water and a magnetically coupled dry-dial that eliminates fogging inside the dial. The M Series water meters are currently produced with brass alloy or high quality composite bodies. WRAS approved for cold water use. The MH hot water meters offer all the benefits of the cold water Model M meters but are able to handle water up to 90ºC. Available in sizes from 1/2" to 2" BSP, threaded couplings are supplied as standard with all M series water meters. Optional electrical output versions stocked by Beta.

Industrial Flanged Water Meters
These woltman water meters (also called turbine, helix or turbo type) are available from Beta's xtensive water meter stock in sizes DN50 to DN150 (2" to 6") with PN 16 flanges. Woltman water meters in sizes up to DN300 (12") and other flange styles (BS table D and US AWWA style) are available to factory order. Arad's WST range of flanged water meters bring together their seventy plus years experiance in the design and manufacture of water meters with the latest materials and manufacturing techniques, not only does this give the WST meters an exceptionally wide metering range, between minimum flow rate and maximum flowrate, allowing these water meters to be used in many applications including industrial, commercial and water supply networks, it also makes them extremely reliable with a long operating life.

OCTAVE Ultrasonic Water Meters
The Octave range of ultrasonic water meters was developed to meet the requirements of water utility companies who needed a bulk water meter able to measure water flow at both very high and very low flows. Low flow rates being especially important where water flow is measured in order to detect network water leakage and also for accurate customer billing. The Octave uses a double beam ultrasonic measuring technique which gives precise measurement of water flow rates and water volume. The Octave features a rigid construction, with IP68 sealing of all electronic parts. The complete absence of moving parts in these ultrasonic water meters results in a very high degree of reliability - the wide unobstructed flow path through the meter body means that the Octave virtually immune to problems caused by solids in the water stream. The Octave is of a compact (single unit) water meter design with a built -in multifunction LCD display showing volume, flow rate and flow direction. All Octave ultrasonic water meters are AMR (automatic meter reading) ready with options for digital volume and analogue flow rate measurement. Positive Displacement and Concentric Water Meters
The Gladiator residential water meter is available with both inline and concentric bodies. The latter style developed to meet the UK's unique requirements. These posititive displaceement meters work on the rotating piston principle, as the water flows through the meter body the piston rotates in its chamber. Each revolution corresponds to a known volume of water and through appropriate gearing the movement of the piston is conveyed by a magnetic coupling to the dial mechanism (the register). The dry dial register is housed within a sealed capsule which is guaranteed to prevent fogging inside the dial face in any application. The Gladiator offers a wide metering range and is highly accurate, registers with 3G and pulse output are available. The Gladiator has been tested and granted WRAS approval. View range.
