Focused on the development of power-line communicators, we have selected Adaptive Networks technology to be at the core of our products. This strategy allows us to focus on developing systems while exploiting the technical expertise of ANI in developing power-line communications chip sets.

Our development team has over five years of experience in developing power-line communicators. Aside from our standard product range, we have developed specialised systems for trolley cart systems, escalator systems and point of sales (POS) terminals.

Location

		Altcom is located on the National Technological Park, Limerick, Ireland. This park, which is situated on the bank's of the river Shannon - Ireland's largest river, is home to companies such as Dell, Cabletron, Eastman Kodak. It is also adjacent to Ireland's first Technological University, the University of Limerick. This cluster combination of high technology companies and the University of Limerick provides the ideal environment and location for our research and development facilities.
