Description	SWEED Model 517AE. The chopper stands 5 ft. high, is a 3 horse power 460 volts motor. The Sweed has 2 rotating knives and 2 stationary knives. Each knife could be rotated four times for cutting. With the chopper comes a brand new set of blades. The Sweed takes from 1/4" to 1/2" galvanized or non galvanized steel. The chopper has four slots to feed to allow four lines at one time. The chopper cuts wire into 3" pieces at 60 ft. a minute. The wire drops right into the gaylord box. The gaylord box will hold about 4,000 lbs. The wire, once chopped, is then called prepared number one steel.
