Laura joined ABG in 2007 and is an associate in the Engineering & Physics and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Departments. Her practice focuses on patent and design prosecution, opinion work and patentability searches, particularly in relation to mechanical devices, electronic engineering and computer-related inventions. She is European Patent Attorney (EQE, 2012).

Before joining ABG, she was a researcher (2002-2007) at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, working on the field of condensed matter physics.

Laura’s thesis work consisted of theoretical studies of electronic transport in nanoscale structures. She has published articles in peer-reviewed technical journals (Physical Review B, Europhysics Letters).

Laura is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English and French.
