On our 3 Day Victoria Falls tour we steer away from the two-night stay in a hotel in town and make this Victoria Falls more of a safari experience. We stay at the only private lodge inside the Zambezi National Park. This tour allows you to get a good feel of the Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side. This tour is ideal to add to an existing tour you may have, or as a stand-alone tour if you have limited time and want to see the Victoria Falls.

Day 02 - Touring in & around Victoria Falls

This morning after your breakfast, you will be taken on your guided tour of Victoria Falls. We first go past one of the biggest baobab trees in the region. These gigantic and ancient trees are characteristic of the African bush.

Victoria Falls

From here we take a 3-kilometer walking tour around the falls taking in several different viewpoints including the Devil’s Cataract, Danger Point and others. You will get wet at some of the viewpoints due to the spray, so remember to advise you to cover your cellphones and camera equipment.

Victoria Falls is a once in a lifetime natural spectacle

From the falls we take a 15-minute drive out of the town to the Mpala Village. The Mpala Village is where you get the opportunity to have an insight into a working village in modern-day rural Africa. A leader from the village will engage you and show several points of interest including houses, the school, and their water source which is a borehole. From here you are returned to the hotel for the afternoon.

Sunset Cruise, Zambezi River

Later in the afternoon you will be collected again and transferred to the jetty for a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River above the falls, complete with drinks and snacks. This excursion also affords the possibility to see not just a typically beautiful sunset, but also some wildlife including hippos, elephants, buffalo and bushbuck.

Day 03 - Victoria Falls to Johannesburg

This morning after your breakfast, you will be transferred back to the Victoria Falls International Airport, where you will board your outbound flight back to the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa.
