BMW’s History
BMW or Bayerische Motoren Werke (meaning Bavarian Motor Works) is a German car manufacturer that was established in 1917, and it has a proud automotive heritage and history. Since its inception BMW has been engaged in the design and manufacture of cars, motorcycles and engines - in addition to its activities in the aviation industry.
BMW is known for it’s high standard of engineering, it’s technical ability and has been an innovator when it comes to increasing engine efficiency and the inclusion of new technologies in its vehicles.

BMW use a number of different companies to design and manufacture the wheels that are fitted to their vehicles. These manufacturers distribute the wheels through the BMW dealer network, and also to Alloy Wheels Direct. All of the wheels we supply are genuine originals, we do not supply replicas.
As every BMW is different their wheels come in a range of sizes (eg BMW X5 alloy wheels are available in sizes ranging from 17" to 21".), so it’s important that you ensure that you select the right wheels to fit.
